I've been idle, but I still exist

I know I haven't update much here. Since my bloglife revolves around LiveJournal right now. It is kind of funny that I decided to transfer there instead of sticking it out here. But the reason for all that is because my favorite FP writers are in LJ and I need to check to see if they are writing. Since they removed all their stories in FP because of all those damned plagiarists. I wish they are all dead. I could no longer read all the good stuff back in Fiction Press. It sucks, like big time.

Anyway... my college life has been pretty busy. Though, I still have time to check the internet every now and then. I am even procrastinating now. I know, I am so sick, and boo to me. I failed miserably every time I try to work. I tend to get lazy and what-nots. Boo!

The other reason why I am sticking in front of the computer is because I am charging my iPod. My damned charger won't work and it gets picky. I need to buy one, like immediately. Unfortunately, I have no money. BOOOOOOO.

Good lord, my life is so boring. And I am being melodramatic over it. It sucks. And I suck. I should end writing. I don't have any idea what I am writing now. OH JEEZ.

LiveJournal
Saturday, June 20, 2009

I am starting to feel intimate with LiveJournal. There might be times that I would rather choose to post my rantings there than here. But, I would try my best-est to use both blogs. I'll make sure that even I am juggling two different blogs, I will still be able to use both and won't ignore other one or so. I promise to try my best, I swear. Especially now that my writing moods are nowhere to be found, it'll be hard for me to update more often.

I will write much better posts soon. I have to get back on my paper. I want to finish it today.

Happy Second Anniversary!
Monday, June 8, 2009

Okay, you people might be wondering why I give so much importance of the birthday of my blog. Well, I want you to all know that I love my blog so much and it deserves a celebration on its birthday. Another reason is that, this is the only blog I ever had that managed to be alive for two years. I tried my best to update monthly because I don't want my blog to be extinct or whatever.

Anyway, I am really happy and overly ecstatic that my blog reached its second year. I know I haven't been updating much over the past couple of months but still I am glad a few people still visit and read some of my stuff in here. Also, I am very grateful for the existence of this blog because it helped me in my writing so much. I am still working on my grammar, organization of ideas and vocabulary, but as far as I've known, I have improved. A lot! And having this blog is one of the reasons of my note-worthy improvements.

Also, this blog helped me get through life's dramas and problems. It had become an outlet of the pent up feelings and emotions and having it write all here made me feel so relieved. Having this blog is somewhat having a best friend. The major flaw of this one is that it won't talk to me back or give me a bear hug. But, that would be asking too much. I am just thankful that I have something to write on all the frustrations that I am feeling.

I am hoping for another year of drama and laughter. I will try my best that my blog would see the glorious day of June 8, 2010. So, again, Happy Birthday my lovely blog!

The Crappy Globalization of my Lovely Alma Mater

Warning: There would be foul languages everywhere. If you don't mind about it... then go ahead. Read as much as your fist-sized organ desires.

Let me begin..

I woke up early this morning. It was around six in the morning for my enrollment of my Second Year in College. I expected the lines to be long, the places would be hot, and the day would make me weary. I prepared myself for the exhausting day ahead, and would be calm whenever things get crazy.

So, I climbed out of my bed and took a bath. Trying to freshen myself up and preparing myself for the day ahead. I took a sumptuous breakfast and made myself full. I took a ride with my father and went to the school. I lined myself up and waited patiently for my turn.

When we were getting our enrollment forms, people went crazy and ran to the room where we could get it. Okay, I admit. I am one of those people who went gaga and ran as fast as I could so I would be able to finish everything early. We ended in a line again and patiently waited for the forms. Not really patiently though, we threw a couple of fits here and then.

When we finally got our forms, we decided to go to South Campus to pay for the fees because the line for the teller in the Main Campus was so goddamned long. It freaked me out a little when I saw it. The line reached almost half of the school's size. Who wouldn't be surprised by it? So, we finally made a decision to go to South Campus.

When we reached there, we were quite relieved to see that the line was pretty short compared to the other campus's, which ran for miles. We settled ourselves in the line and tried to catch up with each other's lives over the past couple of months.

Of course, we enjoyed talking with each other. Throwing a couple of banters here and there, sharing silly jokes, and just enjoying the time we have together. You see, we were already torn apart. We don't belong to the same block anymore, and the difference in our schedules might be hindrance to our beautiful friendship. Okay, back to the story...

We noticed about thirty minutes of lining up that we only moved a couple of inches. We just ignored it at first. When another half an hour came and it seemed that we still didn't move that much, it totally pissed the hell out of us. Our temper was starting to boil and we were getting more and more impatient. An hour passed and the freaking line still didn't make us nearer to our damned teller. We were really getting pissed. The crappy system our school was spiting us, and we like it very much. Not. We were also getting hungry making us more impatient and mad. The growling of our stomach really didn't help us at all. It only made matters worse.

When the hour for our oh-so-lovely(note the sarcasm) tellers to have break, the security guard gave us priority numbers so we would be prioritized in paying our fees. We were pretty glad about it and decided to leave the campus and satiate ourselves with delicious meals. We went to E-mall and had our lunch there.

After an hour of devouring our lunch, we went back to school with energy on a high level and stomach full. Seeing that we have priority numbers made us hopeful. Only our little hopes crushed when we learned that priority didn't make sense at all since we need to line up once again. Damn, it made us furious. Oh well, not really, just a bit pissed and disappointed. So, anyway... we went to our lines and patiently waited for our turn again.

About an hour and a half later, it was my turn to pay my fees. 'Oh, thank God, finally', I murmured silently in my head when I reached the teller. I was patient and cheerful. I mean, I am almost done, just pay this tuition fee and get my schedule and I'm over. But sadly, fate wasn't that nice to me, the lovely teller told me that I have a balance from last semester. I was like... what the hell? I am almost done and sadly, I am no near. So, of course I nodded her off and decided to try to get my schedule. But sadly, she asked me to go back to Main Campus and settle my problems there.

So, I obediently followed and went back to Main Campus. I went to ASC and waited. It took me about an hour to finish my transaction there, and damn it, I am not done yet! The freaking woman asked me to go somewhere else again. Oh man, I was really getting furious and impatient by that time. I swear I did. Then, when I went to the person she asked me to go, I was about to scream because the person asked me to go to the Assessment and tell whoever-she-was in whatever-the-hell-office-she-was-in to help me in my problem. I'll be damned. I have to line up again to finish this enrollment and it was already five in the afternoon. Ah, what a beautiful day it was. Really. NOT!!!!

But thank heavens, when I approached the person, she has no instructions and gave my schedule in my warm hands. Oh good Lord, it felt great. After eleven hours of enrollment, I finally my schedule in my hands. Oh, good Lord, I love thee oh so much. Je t'aime beacoup!!!!!!!

Okay, I just want to say one last thing. I hope that my freaking school would realize what crappy technology they have. Ever since I stepped into college, I never had a decent enrollment. It was always crappy and it sucks. Something goes wrong everytime. I don't know what the hell it is... or maybe I am just damned with enrollment curse. I wish it'll end very soon, because it is really not that pleasant. It is very exhausting and it drains the energy out of my fragile little body.

Oh, it's not one thing. Uhm, it's like a freaking one paragraph. But anyway, I am done. I am enrolled. And all I have to do is wait for June 8 to arrive.

Significance of June 8:
- Beginning of Classes
- The Second Anniversary of my lovely blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all those who patiently read my looooooong post with all the profanities I wrote. I, thank you, very much. :)
